Welcome to an information page focused on something to which I've dedicated my career: Planning safer communities in the face of natural, climatic, geologic and man-made hazard events--more specifically, how to keep us all "out of harm's way." The Urban Land Institute defines "Building resilience" as "identifying and investing in places and infrastructure that are the most likely to endure." That's the answer in a nutshell.
